A weekend and vacation retreat

Vershire, Vermont

The site, once used for maple sugaring, has some fine old maple trees, and a view which improves with height. The livingroom is on the second floor to take advantage of the better view.

Roof slopes insure that snow won't slide onto decks. (Photos taken before construction completed)

Orientation gives passive solar heating

The kitchen window is a bubble skylight placed vertically
