Adventures with ALICE: Abacos 2005 #3

We are trying to get back to Alice, but New England weather isn't making it easy. It took so long deicing the planes that we missed the last flight out to Marsh Harbor and spent a night in Ft. Lauderdale.

On board again at last. Ladies Week is beginning!

Baker's Bay on Guana Cay got them off on the right foot.

Fran's food was up to her usual standard: delicious.

Kathy demonstrated her birthday-present kayak.

.

Sloan and Josh came back for the return delivery to Florida.

Since we paid our dues on the way out, we waited till we had a perfect weather window for the homeward bound voyage. .

An escort of Alice's old friends, the dolphins, came to say goodbye. In one day we saw two species, plus a pod of pilot whales.

Alice  waited in Stuart, Florida, for summer to arrive in Maine.
