Adventures with ALICE: New England Cruising 2008-10

Kathy and I tried to get to the St John River in 2008, but oh that fog.

Sergio started off relaxing, but the cold west wind gave us a rough ride

returning from Maine to Salem in the fall with just two of us aboard in 2009.

He's still wearing that parka next spring on the way south to Cape Cod in April with Mil Kime.

.

It did get warmer in time for our 39th anniversary cruise in May. We stopped at nice places like Bristol in Narragansett Bay, ate in restaurants, and moored near mansions in Newport. Alice shone even next to the neighboring gold-platers. The first (last, and only) mate looked good too!

She was queen of the fleet in Cuttyhunk, too.
By June, Alice was back at home port, Pickering Cove on Deer Isle. That pot of gold must be around here somewhere.

There's lots of nice cruising ahead in Maine. Take a look!
